This CD-ROM product is based on Surgery: Scientific Principles and Practice (Second Edition), Review for Surgery: Scientific Principles and Practice (Second Edition), and Mastery of Surgery, Volumes 1 and 2 (Third Edition).

This CD-ROM allows you to access vital medical information with the click of a mouse.  The CD contains the full textbook(s) material, all illustrations and images. There are also extensive links between books to provide

you with the ability to cross-reference relevant information. Within the textbooks, you can search by topic or phrase, create  bookmarks, and write annotations.

Images and tables can be accessed by clicking on the highlighted words within the text or by clicking on  the thumbnail images located in a scrollable panel on the right side of the screen.  The thumbnail is a miniature version of the image and when clicked, reveals a window for viewing the feature.  Images can be scrolled up and down, zoomed in or out, panned, printed and copied.  Tables can be scrolled, printed and copied.
